Experience:  Over 12 years of experience including providing in home programming, school consultation and
running social skills programs for children as young as 15 months up to 19 years of age in San Diego County
and Los Angeles County. Behavior Specialist for San Diego City Schools. Developmental Specialist Children's
Hospital. Founder of I CAN PLAY! Jan. 2003.

Current area of interest: Communication, play and social behavior. I am working with families to facilitate
social, play and leisure skills within the home environment. I am also running recreational groups. I enjoy what
I do and it is my hope that my enjoyment is contagious.


Tara Ethridge, Ed.S
Tara is currently an Autism Specialist for the Fallbrook school district. She is a part time employee with I CAN
PLAY! Tara has provided services and consultation for school districts, families and children with
developmental for over 12 years. Tara not only has an extreme amount of experience with children but also a
life time of experience with sports. I CAN PLAY! is ecstatic to have Tara as a coach for the Sunday
Recreational Group, Drama Groups and Summer Social.

Michele Lagui, B.S.
In addition to being a coach and mentor for I CAN PLAY! Michele works as a behavior specialist with San
Diego City Schools. She is currently obtaining her speech and language degree. Michele is extremely
knowledgeable in the area of communication, behavior modification, consultation and social pragmatics. In
addition to her incredible skills with children she is a joy to work with and almost always has a smile on.
